Films can definitely be powerful at tapping into human sensations, so it's no surprise they can be very inspiring. Told well, a simple story of humanity triumphing over harsh indifference will speak to all of us, and maybe even making a difference to our lives. The Grapes of Wrath is one of John Ford triumphant films and featuring an award-winning performance by Jane Darwell & world class acting by Henry Fonda. Encouraged by their English teacher to seize the day, two shy and awkward students start to come out of their shells. For some audiences or critics, Dead Poets Society probably plays a lot the emotions & sensitivity card. Nevertheless, the movie is without a doubt effective in motivating and inspiring anyone.
