We had the pleasure of attending the opening of a new club in Dbayeh called Ôrēent by The Agenda Beirut via invitation, the overall atmosphere is exciting. The waiters very attentive and although the place was crowded the service was adequate and they were doing their best. ​

With the new supposedly speedy internet in Lebanon and if you are planning to spend the summer in front of your screen here's a top ten list that will keep you occupied.

1. Dramatic & comedy moments in a crime genre show with all-round exciting cast starring Taylor Schilling star of “The Lucky One”, Orange is the new black is a show you can't miss.

​2. Politics been never that exciting especially with a star of the calibre of Kevin Spacey, his role in House of Cards reminds you how great an actor he is and bring memories of Verbal in The Usual Suspects & Lester in American Beauty.

3. Fantasy & Horror combined in this hit & electrifying show starring Winona Ryder and what a comeback the co-star of Edward Siccorhands & Bram Stoker's Dracula have had, Stranger Things one of the shows as Netflix follower you can't miss.

4. Unlike the movie of the same name this series was for me a real revelation in the comic world & marvel universe. The installation of Charlie Cox (Stardust Star) was a stroke of genius, his character was subtle as Matt Murdock & explosive as Daredevil.

5. Full of hysterical moments, one the stars that emerged from the office cast and started her own series Ellie Kemper in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt definitely got the talent to make you laugh.

6. Jessica Jones a comic character although she's not always considered a main character in the marvel universe but the actor whose known from the comedy show “ Don't trust the B.... in apartment 23” nailed the role and showcased brilliant talent.

7. There's no comedy show could ever top Seinfeld, but Parks & Recreation Aziz Ansari in his show Master of None done a brilliant job in showing why he's considered one of the best comedians in the united states currently.

8. To all social media figures and followers Black Mirror a show made for you, it's a series you have to watch. It's quirky, weird, and got social media material in it and once you watch one episode you've got to watch the rest. Black mirror creators were spot on in showing technology brilliance & side effects of the tech world in a dramatic, sometimes funny (British funny) & always weird moments, it's must-see show to everyone hooked to social media.

9. Sense8 Oh God this show is simply brilliant with a cast practically unknown but the chemistry they have blows your mind away and idea of the show although not entirely original material but it's definitely a show that will keep you on your toes anticipating what will happen next.

10.  Not so many bilingual shows pulled off but when in question such an important character like Pablo Escobar & a world of drug lords is on play it will always be a hit, Narcos show that can't be missed.
