The new series on Netflix got all the factors to become a hit. Yet there's still something missing in this show. In my opinion, the actors are brilliant and the production is superb, but something doesn't add up. Although it's a well-constructed storytelling script yet the episodes seem disconnected. You just feel that every episode could be watched separably and the main idea of the show still known. You start the premiere episode with a sort of introduction how the future after 350 years or so been altered. In a way where you can put the consciousness in another human. Well although the idea seems original it's been done in the recent season of Black Mirror. As for the whole idea of putting someone's consciousness after being dead in another body well in many religions, it's called incarnation. In general, the show is extremely exciting and worthwhile watching if you are science fiction fans. It's got all the elements of an original show and potential to become a cult favorite. Although I hope it doesn't get canceled after a couple of seasons. Like they did with Penny Dreadful and before Deadwood & Rome, the latter is one of my favorite shows and deserved more airtime. Now back to Altered Carbon and the amazing the cast it's got lead by a new upcoming Swedish actor Joe Kinnaman has most known among comic fans for his role in suicide squad and as RoboCop in the rebooted version. The other actor James Purefoy is most notably known for playing Marc Antony in the short-lived series Rome. In addition to an ensemble of the amazing actresses with the diversity of ethnicities. If anything this show recognized the diversity of the universe especially when you see the use of more than three languages including the Arabic. The hit show for the last six years going to return next month and it will be an epic season with everyone getting ready to execute their own plans and like the earlier seasons, it wouldn't be short of surprises. For the game of thrones fans and especially in Lebanon I'm going to go through where most of the important characters left off with remembrance to some of the loved & hated characters that are killed off in season six.
Haven't they had enough of this series or like any other installment when it's doing good in the box office then why not do another. As a kid, I adored the original animated series and when the Transformers first appeared on the silver screen it ruined it for me especially having Shia LaBeouf as the protagonist and when Transformers: Age of Extinction was released and had no Shia instead Mark Wahlberg thought maybe it would be better but of course, it was worse. Now the new movie got an all-star cast even the legend and one of my all-time favorite actors Sir Anthony Hopkins is in the mix and others like Goodman, Watanabe and Stanley Tucci and some of the old cast. After the experience of Tom Cruise The Mummy and its all-star cast can it get any worse. In an almost week the movie is released around the world including South Africa & Botswana so definitely I am intrigued to watch and give my opinion.
I am influenced by someone to write this article , she is a social media figure . First of all, for me, anything has to do with TV shows and films I could easily brag that I've seen 90 % to date, including Asian & European , but let's face the reality when it comes to real deal amazing shows I'll raise my hat for the Americans they are sensational when it comes to production and the little details they are masters and the British are right there or thereabout. My top ten will consist of a list purely opinionated, so some of you will definitely disagree and shows being mentioned either finished or on the verge of ending.
